I was so happy to be part of this month’s issue of The Write Life online magazine. It’s the love issue. I wrote an article and am excited to see what else is in there this month. It’s a wonderful little magazine for writers that I love to read on my mini iPad. There are so many great tips for writers and also different essays that let you see into the heart of a writer. I sorta spilled my guts in this one.

Blah-de-Blah and Then Some
I want to kiss each one of you who takes the time to write reviews. I feel like it’s a Christmas present each time I pop onto Amazon and see a new review come up. You just don’t know what a difference it makes. Maybe you do, but I sure didn’t until I published a book. I do know the time it takes to come up with something meaningful to say after you’ve read a book though, good or bad. Thank you SO VERY MUCH.
And just feeling so much love for all the bloggers out there who take the time to read and review simply for the love of books. It’s amazing. I feel like a new one appears all the time, so I’m having a hard time keeping track~forgive me for that. I wish there was a huge catalog of all the book blogs. Hmmm. Could someone please put that together? K, thanks.
I get letters frequently asking when my next book is coming out. I don’t have any dates set in stone yet, but I hope to have something out by late spring. Saying this much will hopefully get my rear in gear.
I’ve had a hard time focusing on much~can you tell by this blog post?~which makes for a lot of editing while writing…blah, blah, blah. Slowly but surely, it’s coming.
Thank you so much for the messages and notes regarding my mom’s passing. It’s meant so much to have your love and support. XO
Texas
I’m excited about this already…

“I’m not used to people saying exactly what they think. Filtered talk is as popular as filtered water these days.”
Love, cont.
I’m having a hard time saying anything that doesn’t sound trite or meaningless or foolish right now. My mother passed away two days after Christmas and my world has come to a complete stop. There are no words, no amount of tears, no reliving memories…nothing that takes away the pain. I know with time, the heavy sorrow will lift somewhat, but I also know I’ll never be the same again.
It makes it difficult to do the everyday things. Life just continues on and we’re expected to go on like nothing is different. I know eventually I will have to snap out of it to an extent and be a vibrant human being again, but not yet. It’s just not gonna happen yet.
Prayers needed. All loving thoughts desperately needed. And also…love. Love everyone in your world. Love hard. Tell the people you love how much you value them, how much you need them in your life. You just never know how much time you have on this earth.
XO,
Willow

Last Day! Review Tour Day 7
I’ve enjoyed reading your reviews so much! Thanks for being part of my review tour. Couldn’t do this whole book thing without you. Well, I could, but it would just be me holed away writing and then just me reading it…not even half as much fun! Probably for the best when it comes down to the early books I wrote that never saw the light of day…
I’m so grateful for bloggers and readers who have welcomed me into this literary world. Authors, too, have been so kind and supportive. Thanks for that.

Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving Weekend! I hope the celebrating is still carrying on for you.
We’ve had a relaxing, sweet time over here. Enjoying family and too much food. Thankful for every little thing. It’s always a good time to reflect on all of it, and Thanksgiving seems to always eventually bring that out in me~even if the holiday sneaks up on me like it did this year.
I’m not ready for Christmas yet, though! Are you? I need to get there because it’s coming whether I like it or not!
Anyway, I wanted to let you know that In the Fields is on SALE in case you didn’t see it here.
Happy reading! I’ve gotten to do some reading myself the last day and farrrrrr into the night…and am LOVING Amy Harmon’s writing~Making Faces~it’s fantastic.
Off for more family cuddling. Enjoy your day. xo

In other news, I’m part of NaNoWriMo this month, along with 294,934 other people…seriously, that’s how many have taken on this challenge…and writing has never felt harder. I went into it all geared up. Plenty of ideas. A plan. And besides getting sick and having umpteen other *surprises* come my way this month, I’ve just been more stuck than usual. Fortunately, I have 19 days to get my act together!
Over on the FB page, I’ve been in a picture kind of mood. I found an Isaiah I think you’ll like. And of course, there are a few selections for Ian. *Thunk.* Prone to passing out when I look at a certain one…
And I’m trying, I’m really trying, to do better with Twitter. I still feel like I’m at the back of the class, trying to see the chalkboard and failing when I log on. I’ll get there, hopefully. ;)
Happy Monday! Go hug your dog and your lover. Not in that order, obviously!
Flippin' Out
I’m flippin’ out a little bit at the moment. My dear friend, Calia Read, just brought this to my attention… Doing a little happy dance that I’m a nominee for debut author! :D This just gave my morning a little sparkle. And I haven’t even had coffee yet.
